The Color of Rain

This recent book club discusses the book "The Color of Rain" by Michael and Gina Spehn. Wow, Krystin you know how to pick 'em. This was a well written book by two people who had suffered the loss of their spouses. We talked about how very young they were and how invincible you feel at that age, but life happens to all of us. We had a small intimate group which has all suffered loss at one time or another. It seems everyone could relate. The book discussion questions could have been an 8 week study. They were very thought provoking and insightful.
I think that we all realized how much harder the loss is when the person is not a believer and how loss opens the discussion for sharing Jesus, "The hope of Glory." Thanks to all that attended.
